Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for several years. The actress is famous for the roles she played in the film industry and on television. Her fan base is large in American as well as Canadian TV. Emily's love for acting first began in the year 12, she went to visit their sister Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. After realizing her passion in acting, she began taking classes in acting and going to auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials, and then was included in the Canadian children's television show Are You Scared of the Dark? In one scene, she appeared without speaking any words. When she was 15 years old, she made her breakthrough as she was an actor on the WB show Glory Days. Emily's appearance on the WB show Glory Days that was cancelled 9 episodes later, drew the attention and casting of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily, who is also an artist and ballerina, was named by Teen magazine as one of the most talented actresses under the age of 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her at number 51.
